Walt Bomeman May 8, 2012 7:00 p.m. This date is the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea. Author Walt Borneman and veteran Bill Dye will present the program. Bill was on the aircraft carrier Lexington that was sunk in the battle that many say saved Australia and turned the tide of the Pacific war. This is a special meeting of the Aviation Club of Estes Park, Aviation Internationale. Walt Borneman will be publishing a 574 page book, The Admirals, in May 2012. Book signings will be at the McDonald's bookstore on May 8th from 2:00p to 3:00p.
